Sod of Irish turf in a pendant. My little pendant is unique. The silver plated ‘cage’ holds a little sod of turf from the bogs here in Erris, Co. Mayo, Ireland. We usually burn turf to keep our houses heated and provide ourselves with hot water but here, I have made our winter fuel into a fun pendant for you to wear a little bit of Ireland all the time. I think it would be wise to remove the pendant before showering or going into water because being a natural product (our soil in fact), it wouldn’t be good for it. Your pendant will come on a silver chain beween 16″ and 22″ in length or black leather, or brown cotton elasticated necklace if you prefer. Let me know your preference.
