Incredible Adventures – San Francisco to Los Angeles Pacific Coast 3 Day Camping Tour 2018

DAY 1 – San Francisco to Monterey via Santa Cruz

Bid farewell to the City by the Bay and head south to discover the treasures of the California Coast. Keep an eye out for quaint produce stands filled with artichokes and for hang gliders floating over the Pacific Ocean along Highway 1. Your first stop will be Silicon Valley and the Computer History Museum (entrance included), and then a quick stop to the Google Campus and Visitor Center. You’ll have lunch in Palo Alto.

In the afternoon, prepare to hit the ground running as you head to Monterey. Explore the bay by kayak or stand-up paddleboard, or simply stroll along the coast. If you’d rather get a closer look at what is beneath the water (like the world’s largest octopus), head over to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. And, of course, you’ll have to check out historic Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf. Adventure, history and clam chowder await! You’ll stay overnight in Monterey at a comfortable camping.

DAY 2 – Monterey to San Luis Obispo via Hwy 1 and Big Sur

Rise and shine! You’ll get an early start today, as there is a lot of epic coastline to cover. Begin your morning with stunning views of Pebble Beach on a hike at Point Lobos State Reserve, the crown jewel of the California State Park system. Next up, head inland to Salinas and check out the Mission Soledad where you’ll have lunch and a quick tour! Then, back on the road to head to the legendary Hearst Castle (entrance included), and a trip to San Simeon to see the sea lions! As your day comes to an end, enjoy the evening by walking the tree-lined downtown of America’s Happiest City, San Luis Obispo. You’ll stay overnight in a quiet camping in SLO.

DAY 3 – SLO to Los Angeles via Santa Barbara

Start your day with breakfast at the camping before heading to the American Riviera. Your options abound in Santa Barbara. If the sun, sand and ocean are calling your name, rent a stand up paddleboard or just soak it all in and relax at the beach. Looking to fit in some last minute shopping? You’ll want to stroll through the many boutiques along State Street. If you prefer to visit the Old Mission Santa Barbara or to take another hike, your guide will lead the way. No matter what you choose, you are sure to enjoy spending the day in this quaint California town. It’s time to get ready for the City of Angels, as our last stop of the tour is Hollywood!
